Vote. We aren’t going to tell you how to cast your vote, but we are going to encourage you to vote. If when you read this, you can still vote, get on with it.
According to the Pew Research center, “About two-thirds (66%) of the voting-eligible population turned out for the 2020 presidential election – the highest rate for any national election since 1900.”
That means 34% of those who could vote didn’t. There are a myriad of legitimate reasons, although early voting was available for most people. It’s those remaining people of that subset of 34% that simply were lazy. Don’t be that person.
If you’ve ever worked with us, or even had a conversation about the potential of working together, we hope you know that we want what’s best for our country. We also know that roughly half of the population will be disappointed with results.
If you’ve ever said, “Love your neighbor,” love them today whether they vote your way or not, and love them tomorrow and when the count is in. If you’ve ever said, “Love your enemy,” the same thing is true.
Go vote, cheerfully, hopefully, and honorably.
Call us if you need help with a speech. It’s what we do.
