Our Name

American Speechwriter. That’s our name — a brand. We’ve got logos to match.

We write with an American voice, with American values. We’re a global firm, but we know who we are. The USA is big, and our influence extends around the world. 

Our original name was similar, Chicago Speechwriter. Quickly, however, we realized our clientele was nationwide.

After considering our options, thinking through what mattered to us, we rebranded as American Speechwriter.

What It Means

It’s patriotic, but not partisan. Our clients have included the military and governmental agencies, but our goal is to build a better country. We respect and are thankful for, the great and noble sacrifices our soldiers have made to keep secure the freedoms we hold dear.

It’s traditional, yet modern. America goes back hundreds of years. Apple pie, cornfields, and baseball. In this current era, there may be fewer diners and more home cooks, but good things remain good things.

It’s freedom. Not just freedom of speech. Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. Human rights. These are considered inalienable rights, through God, not whatever administration is in charge. We stand against tyranny and oppression, and work hard to establish a string voice for freedom.

It’s democratic, and epistemic. Whether our client is well-known or not, we provide an all-in effort. We take the freedom to be heard seriously, and realize that merely crying in the public square isn’t enough. You’ve noticed the name calling on social media — that’s absurd and foolish. Instead, we train our speakers to rise above that.

It’s compassionate, with accountability. We actively have helped, pro bono, organizations fighting homelessness and hunger. We approach organizations we believe do more than offer handouts but, instead, offer a true hand up. They train and encourage those who need that hand.

Our logo is blue and white. The red shows up in our editing as we work hard with the red ink, editing each talk toward excellence.
