Do you have an internal event coming up with multiple speakers? You are investing a lot in production. Often, millions of dollars go into hiring a third-party production team. You’re headed to Disney or Las Vegas. The music is lifting morale, the outside keynote speaker is motivating, but then, your internal speakers leave your audience disappointed. You can do better. Your sales conference or town hall meeting can be lifted from ordinary to astounding.
Be sure to give the same great attention to your team’s messages. You have been planning for over a year and your team is taking this seriously. There’s more to do, though.
All that flash, hype, pomp and circumstance can be engaging. Buttress it by planning your event in every aspect. Let your wisdom shine through great words presented well.
Ensure event messages are on-theme and on-brand while supporting your speakers’ unique personalities. Undulate the intensity and tone of the event, landing in a crescendo backed with a call-to-action and practical next steps. Synchronize what’s being said in the break-outs and main stage. You want your plenary sessions to reflect what your training classes are saying.
Take the time to do this right. Excellent events are accomplished by going beyond nicking off the project management tasks. Go beyond and make a difference this year.
